  14. ABOUT THE FONTS

  16. Most of these fonts only look good when used in larger sizes
  17. of 24 points and above.  You get what you pay for in outline fonts.
  18. These fonts are free, so don't expect too much.  While the fonts
  19. may not look too good on screen, they look much nicer when printed.
  20.  
  21. Accented characters are missing from most of the fonts.  Furthermore,
  22. some fonts only contain upper case letters.  There are many Type-1
  23. fonts that are available from public-domain sources.  Type-1 fonts
  24. from recognized font foundries are of much higher quality than the
  25. ones you will find in the public domain.
